So, I love ....

My David, my family, our home, friends, road trips, fun photography, jotting down my thoughts / memories / experiences, exploring our beautifully diverse land South Africa including other Southern African countries, and .... I enjoy sharing my photographs.

Makes my heart happy when I hear that folk have been encouraged, by my posts, to "hit the road" or visit somewhere new. Yoh, and when I hear or read of somewhere new ... my heart skips a beat & my eyes twinkle in anticipation!

This format is new to me & I might not get to grips of what / how I'm to work or think; I may have some senior moments (forgive me if I do!) as so far, I've been sharing all on Facebook.

I started my Facebook page - South Africa My Best - at the end July 2013. Prior I used to keep a written journal on our travels come back & share thoughts and pictures via email to family & friends. Facebook seemed like a good starting point and so South Africa My Best was born - as I write this there are just over 4600 people who have liked my page ... I'm delighted. I have a lot to learn least of all how to link the two. Trust I'll improve with time .....
